Help with Sunflare

Something not working, or got an idea? Email [email protected] and you'll get a reply, usually within a couple of days. It helps to include your iOS version and a screenshot. Please never send your API token.

Creating an API token

  1. Sign in to the Cloudflare dashboard and go to My Profile → API Tokens.
  2. Tap Create Token, then Create Custom Token, and give it a name such as Sunflare.
  3. Add the permissions below. Leave out anything you don't want Sunflare to touch.
  4. Under Zone Resources, choose all zones or just the ones you want, then create the token.
  5. Copy the token, open Sunflare, tap Connect Cloudflare and paste it in. Cloudflare only shows it once.

Common problems

Face ID

In Sunflare's settings, set Require Face ID to For Changes to confirm DNS edits, purges, rollbacks and email changes, or to To Open Sunflare to lock the whole app whenever you leave it.

Try it without an account

Tap Explore the Demo on the welcome screen to load a simulated Cloudflare account. Nothing you do in the demo touches a real account.
